Legend has it that there were two giants, the Sea and the Mountain, who had never been angry. One day, the Mermaid arrived and immediately aroused the curiosity of the giants, who fell in love with her. In a fierce dispute, the Sea and the Mountain move heaven and earth against each other in the hope of winning the Mermaid's love.
Inspired by the ancient legend of Praia da Rocha, this book was published as part of the BCBF International Award for Illustration.
